Holiday cottage with a swimming pool for a couple in the peace and quiet of rural Andalucia, inland Spain. Al-Queria cottage is an ancient country house restored in an "Al-Andaluz" Moorish style, offering a comfortable and stylish, self-catering holiday for a couple. There are stupendous views over hills and valleys whilst our poolside garden is a haven of serenity for birds and wildlife all thriving in the fresh, clean air of the mountains. Our old Spanish cortijo adjoining the cottage, is surrounded by it's own olive grove, in the mountain country of Granada province, just over an hour's drive from Malaga or Granada airports. This is a very traditional farming area where tractors mix with cars, animals and pedestrians in the villages. Hams and sausages hang from the ceilings of local bars and restaurants, curing in the aromatic air and life takes on a gentler, slower pace. Al-Queria cottage is located within an easy drive to Granada and Cordoba with nearby towns a short drive for shopping. Our two local villages a few minutes away have bars, shops and restaurants. We provide an oasis of rural calm, away from the stresses of modern life, allowing you to relax and "chill out" in the beautiful countryside of inland Spain. |
