Our delightful cottage with a private swimming pool has been carefully restored for a couple to enjoy their holiday together in the peace and quiet of rural Andalucia, Spain

Situated in a beautiful hillside garden with fabulous views and a private pool, the location is genuinely "no children" offering you peace and quiet, tranquility and seclusion.

Our holiday cottage is well located for sightseeing in Granada, Cordoba and Antequera whilst near to local villages for you to enjoy all the traditional delights of rural Spain.

Al-Queria is an attractive and well fitted little house providing a cosy, comfortable, romantic hideaway holiday for a couple who just want to relax, unwind and escape from the pressures of modern life.

We offer a different holiday accommodation in Spain with no children, secluded but not isolated, for an adult couple to relax in the peace and quiet.

How our holiday cottage is different

We have restored the cottage especially for two people to enjoy a quiet holiday in Spain.

A romantic bedroom with a big, comfortable bed offers a restful night's sleep, without passing traffic or other holiday makers to disturb you and no children either.

The shaded, private patio outside Al-Queria cottage allows you to enjoy the morning sun for breakfast and to dine in the cool of the evening.

The private pool is not overlooked by the house and is situated in a secluded hillside garden, surrounded by our olive grove. The elevated position offers cooling breezes and great views along the valley to the distant hills.

There is plenty of space in the garden to sit in the shade or to bask in the sun.

The self catering accommodation is fully equipped for a couple and we provide lots of household necessities.

We include a pack of groceries, wine, herbs, spices, local olive oil, household paper and much more.

We supply all linen, towels (changed twice a week), bath robes, pool towels and a hairdryer.

The cottage is adjacent to our own home so we are there to greet you personally and we clean and maintain Al-Queria to our own high standard.

Although we are on hand to offer any help, recommendations or advice, we will never intrude on your privacy...

...and remember, although we love them, there are no children allowed at Al-Queria which is for an adult couple only. That's right, no children, child free, no kids, free of kids !

Location

Al-Queria cottage is located in the centre of Andalucia near to Lake Iznajar and within easy reach of Granada, Cordoba, Malaga and Antequera for fantastic sightseeing in Spain.

There are three smaller villages, Algarinejo, Fuentes de Cesna and Iznájar, within a few minutes drive all with tapas bars, restaurants, banks and interesting places to visit.

The area local to Al-Queria cottage has many themed walks, a country park, magnificent views and a slow paced, traditional way of life.

The cottage is along a well maintained track, just 300 metres from a good road.

Situated in the peace and quiet of a secluded garden surrounded by our own olive grove with views over hills and valleys, the self catering holiday accommodation is near to the beautiful Lake Iznájar. Our cottage has been restored in Al-Andaluz style with everything that a couple need to enjoy a relaxing, self-catering holiday away from the noise and chaos of the coastal holiday resorts. Our traditional local villages have tapas bars, restaurants, shops, places of interest and a relaxed, rural way of life. Al-Queria holiday cottage is just over an hour from Málaga airport. We provide a friendly and personal service to you but we will not intrude on your privacy so that you can really relax and enjoy your quiet holiday in Spain.
